Grid and Glory

Grid and Glory is slow in the best way. Each map is a puzzle of positioning, and there's no timer breathing down your neck, so it's perfect for thinking between moves. Pinch-to-zoom works cleanly and unit info is one tap away.

The AI is sharp enough to punish lazy moves but never feels cheap. We lost a mission twice and enjoyed figuring out why. Sessions save mid-battle, which is essential for something this deliberate.

Battery use is very low since it's mostly static screens. This is the game we reach for when we want to actually think instead of react.
